SAFARI OVERVIEW
This Namibia – Botswana 15-day wildlife photographic camping safari will take you on an breath-taking journey through some of the most bio diverse locations of Southern Africa. This two-week camping trip lead by our wildlife photography professionals, will guide you through the most photogenic wildlife hot spots of Namibia and Botswana.
We will travel into the Kalahari Desert of Botswana to visit the San People before venturing into Moremi Game Reserve and the Okavango Delta. We will then travel north, to the Caprivi Strip of Namibia, an amazing hippo photography destination. The last wildlife destination on this camping tour is Etosha National Park, where photographic opportunities are endless, as hundreds of animals are congregating around the waterholes during the dry season.

This photographic safari provides you with two photography hosts who will guide you through the African wilderness in search of capturing those iconic images.
Mark and Jaren have been traveling most of the African continent with their cameras, and are here to help you gain professional-level photographs, increase your photographic knowledge, and ensure you experience a trip of a lifetime.
With a maximum group size of six per photo safari, you will be guaranteed one photo host per three guests, making this one of the most exclusive group photographic safaris in Africa.

ITINERARY
DAY 1
Guests can arrive at Hosea Kutako International Airport at any time on this day. This day will be a meet and greet day, allowing guests to check into our guesthouse, relax, get to know the others and speak to your photography guide.

DAY 2
Transfer to Ghanzi, Botswana. We will be crossing the Buitepos Border Post into Botswana on this day. Overnight in Ghanzhi
​
DAY 3
We will spend the entire day learning about the ancient traditions of the San People/Bushmen. With an interpreter, we will walk through the bush of the Kalahari as we are taught about their primitive ways of living in the harsh environments of the Kalahari. Learn the survival skills of a bushman including tracking wild animals, trapping, hunting, fire making, and more. The day will end with traditional dances and ritual around the campfire. (Accommodation on this night will be in a traditional bushman grass hut. Mosquito net, stretcher, mattress, and pillow are provided)

ACCOMMODATION
The 15-day camping safari will be accommodated at many camp sites throughout the two countries. Within each camp site, we will supply heavy duty, large two-man tents for each photographer/guest. Inside will consist of a fold out bed, mattress, pillow and sleeping bag. At each unique camp, there will be electricity for charging equipment.

CAMPING
The camping sleeping equipment provided for each photographer is plenty to keep you comfortable throughout the nights. We offer a large TENTCO Ranger Tent for each guest. With each tent comes a fold out bed with mattress. To reduce your baggage, we supply you with a sleeping bag and a pillow. All campsites have bathroom facilities and are supplied with spectacular African landscape views. There are charging sockets at each camp site for everyone to keep camera batteries and other equipment fully charged. Fold out tables and camping safari chairs are supplied for meals and relaxing around the camp during off times.
OUR PHOTO VEHICLE
Our Toyota Land Cruiser Extended Cab Safari Edition 4x4 provides a superb and spacious experience when traveling through Africa. Each seat comes with its own USB charging socket and adjustable window. What makes this truck unique is the roof that opens, perfect for a wildlife photographer, giving each guest a 360 degree view of African wildlife. To make this vessel more appealing, it comes with a built in refrigerator for cold beverages during your journey. Lastly, attached to the vehicle will be a trailer used for storage and will operate as a kitchen.
